This post is part of Blogger series where I collect useful info about Google's Blogger platform.
OK, let's start!
1. Head over to Blogger.com
2. If you have already registered on Google, simply enter your name and password (enter your user name and password for your account at Google.com, if you don't have an account in Google - create it. If you don't know how to do it write in the comments to this article, I'll explain you everything in details. )
3. Choose your Display name, check "I accept the Terms of Service" and click "Continue"
4. Now type in your blog title and choose the blog address. Blog address name have to be meaningful and preferably as short as possible, but if you want to change it, you'll be able to do it in future, Blogger provides this option for you. You can even buy your own domain name and link it to your Blogger account. Click "Check availability", if the address is available you may proceed further and click "Continue"
6. That's it! Your blog has been created! Before starting blogging you can set up a custom domain if you wish. Then instead of blogspot.com your blog will have its own domain name. Blogger also provides "Import Blog Tool" that allows you to transfer your old blog to Blogger. Click "Start Blogging!"
7. Now you type in the title and start writing you first post! Click "Publish Post" and your post is on the web! I suggest to switch into Google's new Blogger interface. It's more intuitive and looks cleaner than the old one. You can switch to it anytime by clicking "Try the updated Blogger interface" on the top-right position of your screen.
Happy blogging!
